What exactly is a journal and how can it help?

In its most basic form, journaling is simply writing down your thoughts and feelings to understand them more clearly.

If you’ve never had any experiences with it, you might think of a journal as some sort of decorative book with empty lined pages, full of handwritten secrets and held (not so) securely together with a tiny padlock. But journals have moved on, and Nudl is a new wave of journaling entirely.

Growing up in a world full of competition and comparison can be tough. It can prove invaluable to have a safe place to reflect on any emotions and develop an understanding for why they occur, and how to deal with them. However, we understand that an empty lined book can be feel daunting and difficult to begin - not even mentioning dull and difficult to stick with. That’s why we’ve reimagined the way journaling works, guiding children through the process and helping to cover a range of important topics.

The new wave of journaling

Nudl offers new prompts every day and a new theme every month, helping to keep the act of journaling fun and fresh

How does it work?

Helping to form new positive habits

We know that in order to create new habits, they need to be engaging and easy to stick with. That’s why all of our journals are designed to take just 7 minutes per day (on average). By combining achievable time commitments with ever-changing prompts, we believe that not only will your child be able to form a new meaningful habit, they’ll actively look forward to it each night!

Nudl journals are based around 4 central pillars: mindfulness, gratitude, kindness and growth. Throughout each journal, your child will be able to explore all four aspects through fun and fast daily reflection.
